A total of thirteen auditors graduated from ASE’s Impact Evaluation Certificate Program last March 12. After a three-month course, diplomas were handed in a ceremony that took place in Abomey-Calavi, at ASE’s campus. The event counted with the presence of the School’s President and Founder, Prof. Leonard Wantchekon, as well as IREEP Director and ASE Associate Professor Prof. Markus Olapade, who directs the certificate program. Several professors who have participated in the program were also present. Wantchekon stressed the importance of programs like this, especially in African countries seeking guidance, control and monitoring of political actions. Special advisor to the President of Benin, Mr. Sébastien Sotindjo, highlighted the opportunities that could bring this certificate to its holders, noting that it may play a key role for those individuals who look for a “career change”.

The celebration ended with a short address by the students’ spokesman who thanked ASE and promised to contribute to spread the word about the School and its achievements.
