ASE Launches New Website!

22 March 2018. The African School of Economics is pleased to announce the launch of its new website! After several years with a Joomla-based platform (pictured above), ASE is transitioning to a WordPress site. The elegant new layout was designed by True212, while Boostworld Companies provided many of the images.

When asked about the new site, the Communication Manager Wilfried Gnanvi said, “Apart from being an interesting challenge in which our Princeton in Africa fellows had a great involvement, the new website was an obligation, due to the modern standards of online communication, which grows every day, so we need to update regularly in order to meet audience needs and ASE objectives.”

This website overhaul is part of a greater re-branding of the school. ASE adopted a new logo in late 2017.

As Professor Leonard Wantchekon explained during the December 2017 graduation ceremony, the open cylinders show that the “sky is the limit” and reflect the new motto: Open Community.

True to that motto, ASE will soon add an undergraduate program, while continuing to develop its research capacities with institutes pertaining to development, finance, and agriculture.

ASE is eager to use this website to maintain an Open Community and to document the school’s continued growth.
