ASE Offers 85 Scholarships Linked to Ongoing IREEP Research Projects

ASE aims to recruit at least 85 students to participate in three ongoing research projects conducted by the Institute for Empirical Research in Political Economy (IREEP). Priority will be given to candidates who enroll at ASE for the 2016-17 Academic Year as the scholarships will be used towards tuition fees. The three projects are:

 

  1. Examining the Impact and Cost-Effectiveness of Supplementary Math Courses with a Focus on Girls (funded by MIT’s J-PAL, United States). Candidates must hold a BA in Maths, Statistics, Physics or Natural Sciences and be capable of teaching Maths to highschool students for three months during summer’16.
  2. Education, and Social Mobility: (funded by Princeton University, United States); Social History of the Amazons of the King Behanzin (University of Zurich, Switzerland).  Candidates must hold a BA in Humanities and be capable to conduct research on the field.
