ASE Offers Training on Impact Evaluation to Professionals within the West African Economic and Monetary Union (UEMOA)

The African School of Economics recently participated in a regional training focused on impact evaluation, which began in Lomé, Togo on May 16th and will continue until May 27th. ASE offered two training sessions on impact evaluation to professionals within the West African Economic and Monetary Union (UEMOA). The goal of the trainings and partnerships among ASE, the private sector, and government institutions is to enhance the administrative capacity and efficiency of institutions and businesses across the region.

At the beginning of the conference, Markus Olapade (IREEP’s Director and ASE Faculty), and Mr. Emédétèmin Nonfodji (UEMOA’s Director of Economic Studies) spoke to participants and highlighted the important role that impact evaluation plays in the development of the region. Furthermore, the Mrs. Ahéba Johnson from the Togolese Ministry of Economics, Finance, and Development also presented at the start of the conference.
